With the help of Mr Surman, JHN now has a number of different sports teams (and the numbers will keep growing). We are incredibly proud of the effort all of these children have put in, not just those that have got onto the teams and we cannot wait to see the children shining their lights in fixtures against other schools! The girls make it three out of three wins in the Oxford School’s F.A. League Cup & have qualified for the final with maximum points. The finals will be played at Oxford Academy in the New Year. Thank you to Grant Thomas for transporting the children, Jon Kogel once again for the fantastic kit and to Yasmin’s mum for her support too!

Santa Dash ’23

Thank you to everyone who participated, cheered on and helped with the organisation of Friday’s Santa Dash. It was great to see lots of fun being had! A massive thank you to Mrs. Simpson for baking the biscuits and cakes that were sold during the Santa Dash, to Miss. Knight for helping organise the House Captains, and to all the staff that ran around and dressed up.

Year 5 & 6 Indoor Athletics

On Wednesday 23rd January, the Year 5 & 6 Athletics Team attended The Oxford Academy. They took part in an Indoor Athletics Competition with 10 other schools. Angelo shone in the sprint races for the boys and Emeli, Yasmin & Aimee shone for the girls. We are awaiting the results to see where we finish, however I would like to say well done to everyone who took part & thank you to Mrs. Godfrey who attended to support the children too.

Year 5 had a smashing time in P.E. this week with Premier Tennis! 🎾 They dove into new activities and honed their skills on the court, soaking up the excitement of learning something new. 🌟 The fun doesn’t stop there—Premier Tennis will be back in March and June for more coaching sessions! 🎾🌞 Here’s to more thrilling matches and ace serves ahead!
